The blue-marked tourist route passes through Nýrov along the route Letovice – Nýrov – Rudka – Kunštát – Sychotín – Touboř – Kunice – Bedřichov and onward.

Hradisko is a spur located approximately 1.5 km southeast of Nýrov, above the valley of the Nýrovský potok.

The partially deforested Hradisko hill offers views of Sebranice and the Svitava valley.

Culture

A memorial plaque for Antonín Pěta on a school building in Nýrov commemorates that he was executed by the German occupiers on 22 February 1945 because of his participation in the anti-fascist resistance.

A memorial plaque for the victims of the Second World War is located in the forest inside the dugout shelter, 2 km from the bus stop, and can be reached via the green-marked tourist route.

During the renovation of the partisan dugout shelter in Nýrov in 2021, a bench and a new information board, among other things, were added.

A small belfry in Nýrov was renovated.

In Nýrov, a monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars stands on the village green near the municipal office.

The partisan dugout shelter lies in the forest below Hradisko and can be reached via a turnoff from the marked hiking trail.

Events

The Nýrovský Slivkošt competition includes the categories plum brandy 2025, other spirits 2025, as well as archived plum brandies and other archived spirits.

The competition welcomes both participants and guests interested in slivovice.

History

Near Újezd, a castle complex from the 13th century is considered probably unfinished.
