Culture

The Rájec nad Svitavou State Château is a national cultural monument and a Neoclassical château in the French style. Members of the noble Salm family built it according to plans by the French architect Isidor Amand Canavel between 1763 and 1769.

In June, the château in Rájec-Jestřebí hosts concerts by the Concentus Moraviae International Music Festival of the 13 Cities. Teatrum, a small structure for open-air theatrical performances, stands in the château park west of the château building.

The cast-iron cross near St. Anne's Chapel in Jestřebí was erected in 1868 in memory of the farmer Josef Fojt, who drowned during the flood on June 13, 1867. Generations of actors have continued the tradition of amateur theatre in Rájec-Jestřebí to this day.

The All Saints' Church in Rájec-Jestřebí contains exposed 15th-century wall paintings in the presbytery and is an architecturally valuable landmark in the town centre. The square in front of the All Saints' Church features a statue of the Archangel Raphael from 1749, a valuable monument. Rájec-Jestřebí is also home to a statue of St. Florian from 1888. It was made by the ironworks in Blansko and is a valuable example of artistic craftsmanship from the late 19th century.
