Rybníky: Hotels and accommodations

The “Between Fields and Forests” nature trail begins at the recycling center in Rybníky and offers an almost five-kilometer route around the village. Its information boards provide interesting facts about the nature and landscape of Rybníky.

The 84-kilometer “Living Borderlands Krumlovsko–Jevišovicko” cycling route, which is not a circular route, also passes through Rybníky.

The Neo-Gothic Church of Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius in Rybníky was consecrated on July 25, 1877. The water mill in Rybníky was first mentioned in 1707, while the present building was constructed in 1804. The water mill is occasionally used for social events.

The Chapel of Saint Margaret, standing in isolation in a cemetery, is located about 1 km from Rybníky in the direction of Moravský Krumlov. It is situated in the former presbytery of a 13th-century church. The former settlement of Topanov disappeared in the 17th century; the chapel dedicated to Saint Margaret has survived.

The traditional wine tasting in Rybníky is organized by ZO ČZS Rybníky. The “Gathering of Carters and Horse Enthusiasts” features competitions with one-, two-, and four-horse teams; there are also carriage races for ponies, children, and draft horses.

A guided walk held as part of European Heritage Days begins at Drápalův mlýn in Rybníky and leads from Rybníky to Moravský Krumlov. It passes the site of the vanished medieval settlement of Topanov and follows the yellow tourist trail to the Chapel of Saint Margaret.
