Horse riding is limited to roads, local roads, and marked bridleways; climbing is permitted only at designated locations and times in accordance with the park rules.
The route from Libochovice to Házmburk is 5 km long one way, takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours at a leisurely pace, and is classified as moderately difficult.
Culture
The regional NPÚ heritage administration manages castles, chateaux, and religious monuments, including Házmburk, Jezeří, Libochovice, Ploskovice, Stekník, and Velké Březno. Jezeří Chateau is a Baroque cultural heritage site in the Ore Mountains, with views of the surrounding landscape.
The Žatec and Saaz Hops landscape includes traditional hop fields as well as buildings for drying, packaging, certifying, and storing hops.
Spa Towns
Teplice is one of the oldest spa towns in Central Europe and is associated with the meeting of Goethe and Beethoven. Other spa towns include Lázně Mšené and Klášterec nad Ohří.

The Ploučnice Cycling Route is a backbone route of the Ústecký kraj, connects the Ústí and Liberec regions, and forms part of Czech long-distance cycling route 15. It runs predominantly on paved or otherwise hardened surfaces; a road bike is not recommended.
The region’s more challenging cycling options include routes through the Bohemian Garnet region, the Milešov Highlands, and the Krušné Mountains, leading to the Ore Mountains Museum in Lesná and the Mědník Mining Gallery.
