Bolesín: Hotels and Accommodation

The more challenging variant of the “Za výhledy” cycling tour is 45 km long and suitable for trekking bikes and mountain bikes. It leads through Rovečné, Bolešín and Koroužné across hilly terrain with forests, meadows, villages and paths, as well as past four lookout towers and viewpoints.

Nature

Hraběcí stolek near Bolešín is a rocky viewpoint on a rocky promontory at an elevation of 530 m. From there, there is a view of a meander of the Svratka and the Vír II Reservoir. Since 2026, the area has officially been protected as a nature reserve.

The Hraběcí stolek Nature Reserve contains a small waterfall and spring areas; it is home to the rare Austrian spring snail (praménka rakouská).

The mountains of Babylon, Kočíko, Kuliška and Librův Kopec are also located in the vicinity of Bolešín.

Trails

The “Pohádková stezka na Hraběcím stolku” fairy-tale trail begins at the bus stop in Bolešín and ends at Hraběcí stolek. It is intended for children aged three and older.

Culture

The “U Šikulů” guesthouse in Bolešín is located in a former school building. A monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars stands near Bolešín.
