Březské: Hotels and Accommodation

The Obchůzka královniček tradition has taken place in Březské since 2011 and continues to be practised there. In the Velkobítešsko area, it was included at the end of 2015 under number 4/2015 in the List of Intangible Assets of Traditional Folk Culture of the Vysočina Region.

During the Obchůzka královniček, girls take a step to the side in front of the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Březské while singing the song “Král zlámal nohu”.

The pilgrimage to the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary takes place from Friday to Sunday in mid-August. In the chapel, a service is held once a month on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. in winter and at 6 p.m. in summer.

Březské lies in the foothills of the Vysočina at an elevation of approximately 468 to 483 metres above sea level. The landscape around Březské is characterised by gently rolling hills; the surrounding hills reach approximately 500 metres in elevation.

The Březinka watercourse runs along the edge of the built-up area of Březské and rises in the neighbouring municipality of Březí. The Skříňka pond is one of the most important bodies of water in Březské for ecological stability and improving water retention in the landscape. Watercourses and wet meadows have the highest ecological stability in the Březské area.

A marked green hiking trail runs from the north through the built-up area of Březské towards the southeast.

Cycle Route 5241 from Čikov via Jáchymov, Osová Bítýška, Níhov and Žďarec to Krčma runs from north to south through the administrative area of Březské. Cycle Route 5235 from Velká Bíteš via Vlkov, Osová, Heřmanov, Dolní Libochová and Strážek to Zvole runs through the southern part of the cadastral area of Březské.

The bus stop on the outskirts of Březské on road III/3793 near the fire station has a shelter.
