Stránecká Zhoř: Hotels and Accommodation
Stránecká Zhoř Castle is a Renaissance castle from the second half of the 16th century, built on the site of a Gothic fortress dating from the second half of the 14th century. In the former castle, the Chapel of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux was rebuilt between 2004 and 2019 in the spirit of traditional construction methods. It uses a former vault from the second half of the 16th century; Mass is regularly celebrated in the chapel.

Culture and History
Guided tours of Stránecká Zhoř Castle have been offered on several occasions. These included a guided tour with commentary during the open day held for the municipality’s anniversary celebrations in 2026, as well as the fourth guided tour announced for 7 August 2026.
Admission to the Svatováclavské ohně was voluntary. Visitors were able to look inside the newly furnished Chapel of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux.
Culinary Heritage
The restored so-called Černá kuchyně is accessible from the castle courtyard. When in operation, the reconstructed kitchen can cook, bake and roast over an open fire. Since 2014, culinary events featuring demonstrations based on historical recipes have been held regularly in the Černá kuchyně.

Dědkovská hora, Panský kopec, Hradiště and Řehořovský vrch are mountains in the surroundings of Stránecká Zhoř. The landscape is thus characterized by several named elevations in the immediate vicinity of the town.
