Dolní Heřmanice: Hotels and accommodations

A rustic, brick-built village chapel in Dolní Heřmanice dates from the early 19th century and has a square floor plan. The cast-iron cross in front of the entrance to the chapel in Dolní Heřmanice bears the engraved year 1814. There is also a chapel in the settlement of Oslava, which is now part of the municipality of Dolní Heřmanice. It is one of the four immovable cultural monuments listed in the municipality of Dolní Heřmanice.

Outside Dolní Heřmanice, opposite house No. 14, there is a brick-built wayside shrine. Another prominent testament to the area’s history is the ruin of Templštejn, situated on a rock above the Oslava Valley. Around two-metre-high remains of the walls of a prismatic tower have survived at Templštejn to this day. Guided tours focusing on its history and architectural history can be arranged by appointment.

The Řihákův mlýn heritage site is located on the Oslava in Dolní Heřmanice. The site includes a very old so-called single-blade saw dating from 1775, whose equipment has been preserved in fully working order. Řihákův mlýn also has preserved technical equipment, including a water wheel, and is located on the Mlynářská Trail.

Most of the Okruh Nesměřským Údolím circular route runs along paved paths. The Dolní Heřmanice bus stop is located near the Okruh Nesměřským Údolím circular route.

The “NS Balinského a Nesměřského údolí” educational trail runs through the municipality of Dolní Heřmanice. The educational trail through the Nesměř Valley offers a sensory journey of discovery through the world of invertebrates.
