Culture
Hodíškov is home to the cultural monument “Vysoký kamenný kříž” (high stone cross), whose base dates back to 1857.
The chapel “Kaple svatých Cyrila a Metoděje” in Hodíškov was built between 1874 and 1877 and consecrated on 24 June 1874. It was designed by Aleš Linsbauer, an architect born in Hodíškov.
Every year on 5 July, a pilgrimage festival is held in Hodíškov for the feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius. On this day, a festive Mass is regularly celebrated in the local chapel.
Activities
The marked long-distance cycle route No. 103 from Jeseník to Znojmo passes through the Hodiškov area.
The Santiniho cycle route, designated No. 5061, is 67 km long, begins in Vojnův Městec and leads to Bystřice nad Pernštejnem.
Swimming in the local ponds Kroužek and Luže has long been considered the most popular leisure activity in summer.
The countryside around Hodiškov can be explored via unmarked field and forest paths.
Nature
The high-quality mesotrophic Hodíškovský rybník is home to the plant species puchýřka útlá (Coleanthus subtilis); regularly occurring, well-developed vegetation, a promising population of this species, and other endangered plant species can be found there.
Hodíškovský rybník bears the Natura 2000 code CZ0612135.

Bus route 842118 connects Nové Město na Moravě, Hodíškov, Ostrov nad Oslavou and Bohdalec. The timetable is valid from 14 December 2025 to 12 December 2026.
