Kuklik: Hotels and accommodations

A protected large-leaved linden tree stands in the Chobotský dvůr area of Kuklík. It is 25 meters tall and has a trunk circumference of 820 centimeters. The individual houses of Kuklík are spread along both banks of the Fryšávka stream. There are also two protected trees in the village.

Iron ore was mined at several locations in Kuklík from the second half of the 18th century onward. A former mine adit has survived to this day and is one of the most productive sources of spring water in the entire region. A number of masonry farmsteads have been preserved in the village; there are also numerous timbered houses with gabled façades.

The approximately 16-kilometer hike “Around Kuklík from the Linden Tree to the Ironworks” begins in Kuklík. The route leads through the Chobot area and then to Chobotský dvůr. Parking for the hike is available in Kuklík at the municipal office.
