Rudolec: Hotels and Accommodation

The medieval fortress of Rudolec continues to serve as the seat of the estate administration and the main residence of its owner.

Rudolec Castle is currently privately owned and falling into disrepair.

The Chapel of Saint Anne in Rudolec was completed in the summer of 1998 and consecrated at a pilgrimage mass on 26 July 1998.

The only surviving element of the original furnishings of the Chapel of Saint Anne is a painting of Saint Anne.

A new bell was installed in its tower one year after the consecration of the Chapel of Saint Anne.

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk above Rudolec dates from the late 18th century, stands on the road towards Jihlava, and is located at an elevation of 674 m above sea level.

Olšinský Pond in Rudolec, together with other ponds in the vicinity of Bohdalov, belongs to the Bohdalovsko Nature Park.

The Rybníky u Rudolce area comprises ponds with rare vegetation of periodically drying ponds, as well as adjacent wetland and peatland habitats; notable plant species occur there, particularly slender sheath-flower (Coleanthus subtilis), along with, above all, amphibians.

A blue-marked hiking trail leads through Rudolec and runs along the Blažkov ridge.

From Blažkov, there are views of the Moravian and Bohemian sides of the Žďárské vrchy.

The Vyhlídka nad Rudolcem viewpoint offers views of Rudolec Castle, Bohdalov, and the Žďárské vrchy.

A blue-marked hiking trail passes by Vyhlídka nad Rudolcem and runs along the ridge of the Arnolecké hory.
