Pikárec: Hotels and Accommodation

The Pod skalou nature area in Pikárec features a podium and reliable catering facilities. Southeast of Pikárec lies Kuchyň Pond, known for its interesting vegetation.

Pikárec is considered the birthplace of geologist Alois Myslivec (1898–1994). In 1946, Myslivec completed his habilitation at the Czech Technical University in Prague in the fields of soil mechanics and foundation engineering and became the country's first professor of this new field.

The “Křižanovsko Through Nature” cycling tour follows cycle route CT 5243 through Pikárec. Local events include the “Fairy-Tale Forest,” a traditional walking and family event. It features seven fairy-tale stations, where children receive a reward at each station.

The Ostatky is considered a traditional masked procession through Pikárec. The celebration is then continued with an evening party for locals, where traditional customs are maintained.

After walking through the “Fairy-Tale Forest,” refreshments are available at the Pod Křibem excursion site. During the Ostatky masked procession on March 1, 2025, houses throughout the municipality offered opportunities to get drinks and small samples.
