History and culture

Bohdalec was established in the second half of the 13th century or the first half of the 14th century on land donated to Žďár Monastery by the heirs of Přibyslav z Křižanova. Jaroslav Skryja is also associated with the village: he was born in Bohdalec in 1895 and died in Berlin-Plötzensee in 1942.
