Nature and Leisure
Year-round leisure activities in Nový Jimramov include hiking, cycling and mushroom picking. A red-marked hiking trail passes through the village. The Štarkov natural monument can be reached by tourists via blue- and red-marked hiking trails.
Winter
Ski Areál Jimramov is located in Nový Jimramov at an elevation of around 650 metres. It offers downhill runs of various difficulty levels as well as a ski school with individual lessons for children and adults. The resort also includes equipment rental and servicing; items available for rent include skis, snowboards and helmets.
Culture and History
In the cadastral area of Nový Jimramov, the ruins of Skály Castle (Štarkov) stand on a prominent rock formation at an elevation of 664 metres. The nearby ruins of Skály Castle, also known as Štarkov, can be reached via the red-marked hiking trail.
A small protected log house, house number 40, has been preserved in Nový Jimramov as evidence of the region’s folk architecture. The local history also includes the paper mill: it was still in operation after 1850 and produced very high-quality paper that was sold to Vienna and Prague.
