Rovečné: Hotels and Accommodation

The “St Martin's Church” in Rovečné is a single-nave Baroque building with a tower on the façade, constructed in 1721. Its bell dates from 1547. The complex also includes the cemetery, cemetery wall and surrounding lime trees; the entire ensemble is protected as a cultural monument.

The Protestant church in Rovečné was completed within 15 months after construction began in 1897. Its organ was supplied by the Tuček company from Kutná Hora and is still in use today. The memorial to those who fell in the First World War was ceremonially unveiled on 28 October 1928.

Horní les is 774.3 metres high and the highest point of the Svratecká hornatina. The “Horní les Lookout Tower” is open to the public every year from 15 April to 15 October.

The “From Rovečné to the Horní les Lookout Tower” hiking route begins in the square in Rovečné and follows a red-marked hiking trail along its entire length. From the small car park opposite the health centre, the route to Horní les is accessible only to pedestrians and cyclists.

The multifunctional sports field in Rovečné by the school is currently used only for tennis and volleyball; available times can be checked via the reservation function.

The Rovečné bathing pool is located in the upper part of the village on its northern edge and is used as a natural swimming pool in summer. It is 30 × 25 metres in size and up to 2 metres deep.
