Sázava: Hotels and Accommodations

Sázava is surrounded by the landscape of the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. The nearby area around Sázava includes Mount Rosička and Mount Světka. Mount Blažkov and Žákova hora are also located in the surrounding area.

In the wider regional surroundings of Sázava lies Smetanovy sady, a named park.

The Posázavská cycling route runs above the river and along the embankment of a former railway line to Sázava. The Přibyslav–Sázava cycle path opened in 2011, is over 9 kilometers long, and runs along the track bed of a disused railway line. It is suitable for cycling and inline skating. At both ends – in Sázava and in Přibyslav – it is connected to local cycling routes.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Sázava is shaped like a biblical ark and has a 15-meter-high metal cross.

Pekelský mlýn stands on the left bank of the Sázava River on the outskirts of Sázava, on the road to Velká Losenice. A hammer mill at the site of Pekelský mlýn has been mentioned since the mid-14th century.
