The Church of St. John the Baptist is part of the town's history. It was originally a Romanesque-Gothic building probably dating from the last third of the 13th century. It was rebuilt around 1380; further alterations took place in the 16th, 17th and 19th centuries. The tower was added around 1614 to 1620. After the fire of 1814, it received a characteristic onion-shaped roof and is 38 meters high.

The monument to Boleslav Jablonský was created by Josef Strachovský and ceremonially unveiled on August 7, 1886. Five single-story houses from the former Jewish ghetto still remain today: house numbers 191 (formerly I), 405 (II), 406 (III), 407 (VII) and 408 (VIII).
