Kraborovice: Hotels and Accommodation

The cycling route from Golčův Jeníkov to Třemošnice passes through Kraborovice. It is a hilly route of moderate difficulty, suitable for road bikes and trekking bikes.

Culture and History

In Úhrov, there is a small Baroque building that was built as a chateau at the beginning of the 18th century. It is privately owned and is currently not open to the public. Úhrov is also home to a replica of a medieval castle rampart.

The Chapel of St. Anthony in Úhrov belongs to the municipality of Kraborovice. It was commissioned by František Vltavský, the owner of the Úhrov estate at the time, and is open to the public during various festive occasions.

The statue of St. John of Nepomuk with the vaulted bridge in Úhrov was declared a cultural monument in the fourth quarter of 2019. The late Baroque statue dates from 1770, is an impressive landscape landmark, and is considered an example of popular devotion.

Visitor Information

The village museum in Kraborovice is located in the municipal office building. Visits are possible by arrangement with municipal representatives.

The replacement lime tree planted in Úhrov in 2013 has once again been granted protected status as a protected memorial tree. Information panels featuring photographs and the history of the original Úhrov lime tree stand around the Úhrov lime tree.
