Vilémovice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Stvořidla Nature Reserve includes Vilémovice and also extends across the village's cadastral area. In the deep valley of the Sázava, it features a boulder-strewn riverbed with numerous rapids. Among other species, the protected white-throated dipper lives in the reserve; Stvořidla also offers opportunities for hiking.

There is also a remarkable tree in the park of Vilémovice Château: a yew tree with a trunk circumference of 310 centimetres grows there. This yew was designated a memorial tree on 16 September 1976.

Local traditions are maintained in Vilémovice. These include a Shrovetide procession as well as pilgrimage and village-fair celebrations. To the west of the village, beside a path through the fields, stands a Late Baroque chapel that probably dates from 1727.

In the centre of the village, next to the outdoor swimming pool, there is a bell tower. Vilémovice is also home to a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1864.

The 1.4-km educational trail continues to Vilémovice and features twelve information stations. The route includes the game “13 Eagle Feathers”, in which various tasks involving skill and ingenuity are solved at each station.

The “Okolo Ledče nad Sázavou” route leads westwards from Vilémovice along a path to the Vilémovice railway stop.
