Nature

The European watershed between the Elbe and Danube runs through Nová Buková. The southern part of the cadastral area of Nová Buková is designated as a landscape of ecological value, mostly forested, with a body of water.

Culture and History

A former fortress in Nová Buková was built at the end of the 16th century by Arnošt Leskovec of Leskovec.

Transport

There is no ticket office at Nová Buková railway station; tickets are sold on the train. The station is located on line 224 between Tábor and Horní Cerekev, with a continuation to Jihlava.
