Culture

A small park near the chapel contains a monument to the citizens who fell in the First World War. The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Bohušice is a rectangular building with a three-sided termination, situated on a slight elevation in a wooded area. A descending staircase with a stone balustrade leads from the chapel to a spring.

A marble plaque at the Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius records the oral tradition that Saints Cyril and Methodius preached and baptised at this site around the year 865.

Construction of the chateau in Bohušice began in July 1736. An artificial grotto was built in the chateau garden. After a fire in 1781, the remains of the chateau in Bohušice were partially demolished and converted into a farmstead.

Activities

Fishing at the Bohušický rybník is possible on a catch-and-release basis; currently, fishing is permitted there on weekends by prior arrangement with the owner.

During a cycling trip, cycle route 5110 (Jihlava–Raabs) was used to Lažínek. The Březinova cesta is a hiking route with RWN designation and the red main KČT marking.

Bohušice railway station provides barrier-free access to the station building or stop, as well as to all platforms.
