Kamenná: Hotels and accommodations

The Mlynářská Trail runs along the Oslava past Kamenná, begins near Nové Město na Moravě, and ends in the area of Lower Austria. In the vicinity of Kamenná, a blue-marked hiking trail also runs along the cadastral boundary of Klementice and Studnice from Třebíč via Budišov and past the ruins of Dub Castle, through Tasov to Ořechov.

In Kamenná, between the road from Budišov and the road to Klementice, there is a protected natural formation called “balvanovité krajinné ostrůvky.” Čertova ruka is the highest point of the “balvanovité krajinné ostrůvky” area and has the largest boulders.

A memorial to the victims of the First World War, erected in 1920, stands in Kamenná’s village square. A chapel dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk also stands in the village square.

The Buršík manor house has been historically documented in Kamenná since 1502; Tomáš Buršík is mentioned as an early record. The year 1807 is carved above the entrance to the residential part of the Buršík manor house. The Buršík manor house is also the most architecturally and historically valuable of the local houses in Kamenná.

Kamenná has stone sundials associated with local stonemasons. A reconciliation cross stone stands in the vicinity of Kamenná, about 500 meters from a cross in the direction of the Oslava. The granite block bears a carved patriarchal cross.

A fire pond in Kamenná is used as a swimming area called “Koupaliště.” The “Koupaliště” area in Kamenná includes a nohejbal court.

Masopust in Kamenná includes a masked procession and an evening dance event. Kameňák is a beer triathlon held in Kamenná in July.

Thorovo kladivo is mounted in a large boulder near Kamenná at a lookout point.
