The Protestant congregation in Horní Vilémovice was founded in 1783. The Protestant Toleration Chapel in Horní Vilémovice was built from 1784 to 1788. It is a simple rectangular building with a hipped shingle roof. In 1902, it was extended with a tower featuring a clock and bells.
The Protestant Toleration Chapel contains a pulpit, a railing around the communion table, a baptismal font, and benches. The Protestant Toleration Church in Horní Vilémovice has been a protected cultural monument since 2007. The regional Vysočina tourism guide lists the Toleration Chapel among the ecclesiastical monuments.
During the period of religious persecution, secret Protestant services were held at Velký Javor.
The Třebíč–Studenec hiking route is 32 km long.
