Mladoňovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Petr Mladoň was born in Mladoňovice in 1390. In 1439, he was elected rector of the university.

The exhibition about Petr Mladoň is housed in a former poorhouse next to the municipal office. It includes collections on the history of the municipality, archaeological finds from its surroundings, and other historical records about the municipality.

The remains of a medieval fortress have also been preserved in Mladoňovice. The Chapel of Saint Florian, with a large stone cross, is a landmark of the village.

Road II/408 from Jemnice to Znojmo passes through Dobrá Voda. The settlement of Dobrá Voda belongs to the municipality of Mladoňovice and lies 1 km south of the main village.

The so-called Water Chapel in the settlement of Dobrá Voda was built in the mid-18th century, probably between 1725 and 1745, and has been protected as a cultural monument since 1958. Beneath the niche of the Water Chapel, a spring emerges from a pipe in the rendered wall and flows away through a channel in the floor.

Dobrá Voda has been a pilgrimage site since the 18th century. The pilgrimage takes place on the Sunday after the Feast of the Holy Name of Mary, which the Roman Catholic Church celebrates on September 12.
