History and Culture
From 1606, the village of Pálovice belonged to Jemnice. One of the monuments in Pálovice is the Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk. It is a freestanding single-nave Neo-Gothic chapel built in the 19th century, and as a distinctive building it defines the village square of Pálovice. Pálovice is also home to an architecturally valuable rural house bearing the year 1877.
Nature
Bažantnice in Pálovice is documented as a botanical site of the spring snowflake (Leucojum vernum).
Routes
A trip from Jemnice reaches Pálovice via cycle route 5220. The 18 km excursion “Výlet do pohádky” passes through Jemnice, Pálovice, Panenská and Bělčovice, and then returns to Jemnice via Pálovice. This tour is suitable for hiking and cycling.
