Předín documents the history of button making at the Malé Předínské muzeum. The exhibition on button making includes mother-of-pearl brooches, buckles, hairpins, ashtrays, necklaces, and mother-of-pearl-inlaid boxes. Button production in Předín was finally discontinued at the end of September 1991.
Culture
The Malé Předínské muzeum is open during special events held by the municipality. A visit can be arranged by telephone. The Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, dating from the mid-18th century, now stands by the Church of Saint Wenceslas. Above Předín stands a stone wayside shrine preserved as a high-quality work of craftsmanship from the 17th century. Church patronage for the church in Předín is mentioned for the year 1366.
