Příštpo: Hotels and Accommodation

The Yellow Water-lily grows in a meander of the Rokytná above Příštpo. Numerous endangered plant and animal species are also found along the Rokytná near Příštpo. With a little luck, visitors can spot European crayfish and kingfishers in the Rokytná river area near Příštpo.

The endangered snowdrop Galanthus nivalis is among the species found in the Jedlový les a údolí Rokytné area.

A 15.5 km route through the Rokytná Nature Park leads from Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou via Královec, Příštpo and Pulkovský Mlýn to Biskupice; Příštpo is listed at kilometre 5. The Rokytná Nature Park also contains a yellow-marked hiking trail that can also be used by mountain bike; the described route passes through Příštpo.

The 32 km cycling loop “Z Jaroměřic do údolí Rokytné” leads via Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou, Příštpo, Rozkoš, Biskupice-Pulkov, Radkovice and Myslibořice back to Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou. Cycle route 5263 runs through the built-up area of Příštpo.

The 10 km cycle route 5263 runs from Jevišovice via Bukovina and Kyničky; Příštpo is listed as a variant. The route passes through heavily wooded areas to the Rokytná valley.

Příštpo is documented in sources from 1190 under the name Preschep. In 1821, the farm in Příštpo was identified as the seat of the instigators of an uprising against forced labour in part of the Znojmo estate. Příštpo also has a monument to those who fell in 1945.

South of the built-up area of Příštpo stands Bednářův mlýn. Also south of the built-up area is the approximately 10 m high Justýnka rock, which is associated with a legend from the time of the Thirty Years’ War. One of Příštpo’s sights is a chapel.
