Rudíkov: Hotels and Accommodation

The dedication of this church to Saint Peter and Saint Paul is considered one of the oldest church dedications of its kind and may date back to the 11th or 12th century. The church was expanded from around 1801 onwards, giving it its present Neoclassical appearance.

Rudíkov is also home to the Boží muka Chapel, a state-protected monument. It was built in the French style after 1803.

Rudíkov is surrounded by hilly terrain and coniferous forests where mushrooms and raspberries grow. In winter, the terrain around the town provides opportunities for cross-country skiing.

The landscape of the Třebíčsko Nature Park around Rudíkov is home to the greater pasqueflower, two-homed valerian and common spotted orchid. Rare animals also live there, including the black stork, smooth snake and grey partridge.

Rudíkov is connected to the surrounding villages by cycle paths and hiking trails. Cycle Route No. 7, “Podhoráckem a přírodním parkem Třebíčsko,” passes through the town.

A 16 km route from Třebíč to the Rudíkov observation tower passes through Ptáčov at 4.5 km, Kobylinec at 7.5 km and Nárameč at 11.3 km.

The viewpoint at the Rudíkov observation tower can be reached via 45 steps. From there, you can enjoy a view of the Vysočina landscape in a south-easterly direction.

Rudíkov is connected to the surrounding villages by train and bus. The FK Rudíkov sports complex has a publicly accessible fitness centre.
