Rapotice: Hotels and Accommodations
Rapotice is situated on a hill surrounded by forests and on a plateau in gently rolling terrain; the area is predominantly surrounded by coniferous forests. Rapotice railway station is located on railway line 240 between Brno and Jihlava. A local bus stop is located near the railway station.

History
In 1101, Rapotice became the property of the monastery in Třebíč. In the 13th century, Rapotice belonged to the Templar monastery of Jamolice. In the second half of the 15th century, Rapotice was incorporated into the town of Ivančice through the dowry of King George of Poděbrady, which was intended for his daughter Barbora and Henry of Lipá. Later, the village was assigned to the town of Krumlov until almost the end of the 19th century.
Culture
The historic village green area of Rapotice has been preserved to this day. The Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord in Rapotice was built in 1857 on the site of a bell tower, renovated in 1995, and consecrated on March 25, 1995.
Events
Rápotova podkova is a traditional autumn hiking march with hiking routes from 5 to 50 kilometers; cycling routes are also available. Vánoční pochod is a festive event with hiking routes from 5 to 16 kilometers, during which participants walk off their Christmas cookies together in wintry weather. Toulky jarní přírodou is a popular group event marking the opening of the spring season, combined with refreshments and socializing.
Rapotická pouť is a traditional public family event at Sokolovna Rapotice; in 2026, it included socializing, a dance evening, and a gathering with accordion players. At the Rapotické hody 2025 event, a procession through the municipality with people in traditional dress, horses, and a brass band took place from 1 p.m. The program included a dance evening with the Moravian Beseda from 8 p.m., performed by people in traditional dress.
