Jiratice: Hotels and Accommodation

The route through the Želetavka Valley leads from Jemnice via Jiratice back to Jemnice. In Jiratice, a branch along a farm track connects the “Po hradech, zámcích a zříceninách” route with the “Sakrální stavby” route.

The Jiratický potok is one of the watercourses listed in Jiratice; the route through the Želetavka Valley to Jiratice follows this watercourse.

The mountains of Modrácký kopec, Špičák, Síbeňák and Klumetzberg are located in the area surrounding Jiratice.

In 1337, Jiratice was part of a benefice established for Pustiměř Monastery. The Chapel of Saint Florian in Jiratice was built in 1865. The character of individual farmsteads from the early 20th century can also still be seen in Jiratice.

Schloßberg is a ruin in the wider regional surroundings of Jiratice. Landštejn and Karlslust Castle, both castles, are also located in this wider regional area, as is U Svaté Magdaleny, a church.

The designation “na farářském”, which has survived to this day, is considered further evidence that Jiratice once had a parish farmstead.

A road leads from Jiratice via Police and Vysočany onward to Bítov.
