Rustavi: Hotels and Accommodation

Rustavi has an archaeological and architectural heritage featuring the remains of a medieval city, a fortress and a citadel, as well as cultural layers from the Bronze Age, the Early Iron Age and the Hellenistic period.

Nature

The riparian forest area of Rustavi is part of Rustavi Cultural and Recreation Park. The park includes an artificial lake, basketball, football and volleyball courts, an open-air amphitheatre and cycling routes. The Mtkvari River divides Rustavi into areas on the left and right banks.

Culture

In Rustavi, there are exhibitions and sales of contemporary Georgian works made from felt and woven textiles, as well as from ceramics, tapestry, carpets, rugs and cloisonné enamel. The works are created by local artisans.

The collections of the Rustavi History Museum include ceramics, glassware, tools, jewellery, stamps, numismatic and ethnographic material, as well as modern art. The museum also displays paintings created with cobwebs instead of paints and pencils.

In mid-September, Rustavkalakoba is held in Rustavi as a folk festival celebrating the city's history. The ruins of this fortress can still be seen today.

At Rustavi International Motorpark, motorcycle use of the main track is listed.
