A moderately difficult hiking route from Juta leads over the Chiukhi Pass toward the White, Blue, and Green Abudelauri Lakes. The section from Juta includes a river crossing and steep slopes; approximately 9 km must be covered on foot to reach the pass.
Hiking
The Juta–Chiukhi Pass–Abudelauri Lakes–Roshka hiking trail connects the regions of Khevsureti and Kazbegi and can be started either in Juta or in Roshka.
A footpath from Juta leads toward the Chiukhi Massif and passes Lake Juti. The Chiukhi Massif offers routes in various categories and difficulty levels and is used by hikers, alpinists, rock climbers, and winter sports enthusiasts.
The hike from Juta to Juta Waterfall takes approximately 1–1.5 hours one way, depending on the pace and trail conditions. It leads through alpine meadows and past small mountain streams before a rocky final ascent.

The Pshav-Khevsureti protected areas identify the Chaukhi mountain system as a characteristic landscape feature. The Chiukhi Massif has peaks over 3,500 meters high.
The Sno Stream flows through Juta and forms waterfalls along its course toward the Terek River.
Getting There and Accommodation
The road to Juta branches off the Tbilisi–Stepantsminda road into the Sno Valley and continues to the end of the valley. Juta is the last village in its valley.
