Pervomayskiy: Hotels and accommodations

Culture and history

The Ioanno-Predtechensky Church is located in Pervomayskiy at 67 Lenin Street. After a fire in December 2009, it was rebuilt according to a new design; the design includes an altar apse and walls raised to the level of the second floor. Crosses and domes were installed above the church in 2012.

A World War II obelisk is listed in a park on Lenin Street in Pervomayskiy. The Irtysh Chemical-Metallurgical Plant was built in 1956 and employed around 4,000 residents of Pervomayskiy.

Winter sports

Pervomayskiy hosted open district cross-country skiing competitions on January 26, 2024. In addition, cross-country skiing sections are active in Pervomayskiy at the East Kazakhstan School of Higher Sports Mastery for winter sports.

Connections and routes

Between 2019 and 2022, district roads connected Pervomayskiy with Shemonaikha and neighboring settlements. These included the Zevakino–Ubinka–Pervomayskiy–Shemonaikha and Barashki–Pervomayskiy–Novo-Ilyinka–Shemonaikha routes.

The Ust-Kamenogorsk–Pervomayskiy route is listed in the intercity route network. Another route between Shemonaikha and Ust-Kamenogorsk runs through Pervomayskiy.

A campsite is in operation on the Shemonaikha–Pervomayskiy–Ust-Kamenogorsk road; it is listed there as fully operational. At the exit from Pervomayskiy toward Shemonaikha, a roadside location is noted opposite the U Dorogi café.
