Ubiškė is a small town in the municipality of Telšiai rajono savivaldybė in Lithuania. Ubiškė is home to the wooden church Ubiškės Šv. Angelų Sargų bažnyčia, which was built in 1851 and has a bell tower.

The Šutrijos Kalnas hill is located in the vicinity of Ubiškė, while the Kietkalnis hill lies in the wider regional surroundings of Ubiškė. The Ubiškės tvenkinys pond, an extension of the Patekla River, is located west of Ubiškė.

History

The Ubiškės estate is mentioned in the 18th century and was owned by the Šilauskai family.

Geographical setting

Ubiškė is located 2 km south of the A11 Šiauliai–Palanga road; the Vilnius–Klaipėda railway line runs along the southern edge of the town. The Ubiškė–Vainočiai railway bridge crosses the Virvytė River.
