Zebrzydów lies west of Ślęża in the northeastern part of the Świdnica Plain, at an elevation of approximately 215 metres above sea level, on the Czarna Woda River. The river rises on the slopes of Radunia in the Ślęża Massif.

Culture

The local history includes the Church of Our Lady of the Scapular. It was first mentioned as early as 1250; the present Gothic-Renaissance building was constructed at the beginning of the 16th century. Inside, a Gothic stone baptismal font, four Gothic Madonna sculptures and a Baroque high altar have been preserved. Stone crosses are also documented at the church, including crosses at the eastern chancel gable and the western gable of the nave. Zebrzydów is also home to a manor house dating from around 1860, reconstructed at the beginning of the 20th century; it includes a residential outbuilding dating from around 1870 and farm buildings from around 1890.

One of the manor houses features architectural elements from the late 18th century, including a wooden porch, and is privately owned.

In the area surrounding Zebrzydów are the ruins of a Renaissance-Baroque castle in Panków, Górka Castle in Sobótka, Ślęża at 718 metres, Przełęcz Tępadła Pass in the Ślęża Massif at 384 metres, and Wieżyca at 415 metres.

Further afield in the region are Grodno in Zagórze, with its castle and museum, and Książ, a fortified castle dating from the 13th century.

The former estate grounds included a park with a pond and a row of mature small-leaved lime trees along a stream.

A former parsonage dating from 1902, which belonged to a Protestant church that no longer exists, stands in Zebrzydów in a park with mature trees.

The church complex includes a cemetery chapel dating from around 1800 and two reconciliation crosses in the cemetery wall.
