Culture and History

Sobienie Szlacheckie has a palace and former manor complex that was entered into the register of historic monuments on 29 May 2000 under number A-37.

The palace was built in the mid-19th century for the Jezierski family and remained in their possession until the end of the Second World War.

In the 1760s, Jacek Jezierski inherited Sobienie Szlacheckie and built a stone palace there; according to tradition, King Poniatowski later stayed there.
