Geographical Setting
The Cluj–Oradea railway line, CFR 300, crosses the territory of Gârbău Commune for more than 11 kilometres.
A 63-kilometre cycling route passes through Turea, Gârbău and Nădășelu. The route is considered particularly interesting from a cultural perspective and leads northwest of Cluj-Napoca over a succession of ridges and valleys. It is described as moderately difficult and runs mainly along paved or unpaved roads intended for horse-drawn vehicles.
