Landscape and nature in Negrasu
Muntele Negrașu is designated as a local natural area within the municipality of Valea Doftanei. Along the Negrașu stream, there is an area extending along both banks for approximately 3 km and including hay meadows on the eastern slopes. To the east, this area is bordered by private properties, municipal pastureland and the forest of Ocol Silvic Doftana.
The „Glodeasa“ Nature Reserve is considered a natural fir forest; its stand is considered to be over 200 years old. Bulbuci (Trollius europaeus) occurs in clearings in montane forests and is associated both with the Ciucaș Natura 2000 site and with the local natural area at Muntele Negrașu within the municipality of Valea Doftanei.

The Gospodăria de oier Frusina Roşca at Str. Negraş 582 is one of the historical monuments dating from the late 19th century. The listed complex includes a house and outbuildings, including a sheepfold, a summer kitchen, a stable and a hay barn.
Casa Luxandra Neagu at Str. NegraÅŸ 676 is one of the historical monuments from 1930.
The Trăisteni area designated UTR 17 – Negrașu 2 lies within the protected area of the rural ensemble „Ansamblul rural“. The ensemble is officially designated as a rural monument and dates from the late 19th to the early 20th century.
The Muzeul de Etnografie si Folclor is housed in the Căminul Cultural Trăisteni and presents aspects of traditional rural domestic culture in Valea Doftanei.
