The Dr. Vasile Lucaciu Memorial Museum is housed in a building constructed in 1847 as the home of the local Greek Catholic cantor. The two-room exhibition at the Dr. Vasile Lucaciu Memorial Museum commemorates the life and work of Vasile Lucaciu through personal belongings and historical objects. The museum thus combines the building’s history with personal and historical testimonies.

An enclosed cross in Apa preserves the memory of the former wooden church. A wooden church was also inaugurated in the municipality of Apa, corresponding to the church where the priest Vasile Lucaciu was baptized in 1852. This wooden church contains Vasile Lucaciu’s crucifix and several photographs of the politician. These memorial sites therefore refer both to the former church and to Lucaciu’s biography.
