Vojvodina Between Nature and Culture
The cultural landscape of Bač comprises Bač Fortress and its surroundings, the Orthodox Bodjani Monastery and the Franciscan Monastery of Bač. These cultural assets are considered to be of outstanding value to the Republic of Serbia.
Wetlands and Special Landscapes
Carska bara has a visitor centre. Carska bara is a protected Category I area with wetland, forest, meadow, steppe and salt ecosystems. Carska bara is home to 239 bird species; all eight European heron species breed there. There are also around 500 plant species in Carska bara.
Fruška Gora was declared a national park in 1960. Fruška Gora is an island mountain in the Pannonian Plain. Fruška Gora is home to 16 Orthodox monasteries, which are known for their distinctive architecture, rich treasuries, libraries and frescoes.

Sand Landscapes, the Danube and Cycle Paths
Deliblatska peščara lies in southeastern Vojvodina between the Danube and the slopes of the Carpathians, around 80 kilometres from Belgrade. Numerous marked hiking and cycling trails begin at the Čardak educational centre near Deliblato. The section of the Danube within the protected natural resources of Deliblatska peščara was designated an internationally important bird area (IBA) in 1989.
Swimming, diving, fishing and birdwatching are possible at the lakes of Bela Crkva. Many birds breed on the so-called bird islands of Lake Palić. The black-headed gull breeds nowhere else in Serbia. The development of the Palić spa began in the mid-19th century; at the beginning of the 20th century, it received its first buildings in the Hungarian style. Visitors can rent bicycles in Palić and cycle to Subotica.

Manastir Ravanica is a monastery in the wider regional surroundings of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. At the “Dužijanca” harvest festivals, Orluškov salaš presents the tradition to tourists in its original form and offers an extensive gastronomic selection as well as a traditional table. Petrovaradinska tvrđava was built from 1692 to 1780 and is very well preserved.
