Landscape and Water
Slovenský raj National Park includes plateaus, deep canyons, gorges, waterfalls, above-ground karst formations and attractive underground spaces. The Slovenský raj Natura 2000 site extends into the Košický kraj region.
The regulated kayaking route through the Hornád Canyon runs from Hrabušické Mýto to Čingov. Kayaking through the Hornád Canyon in Slovenský raj National Park is permitted from 1 May to 31 October.

Caves and Trails
More than 1,300 caves and abysses are known in Slovenský kras. Approximately 270 kilometres of hiking trails and approximately 50 kilometres of cycling trails are marked in Slovenský kras National Park.
The Zádielska tiesňava educational trail is the oldest educational trail in Slovenský kras National Park and comprises seven information boards or stations.
The Hussite Hall of Jasovská jaskyňa contains a brotherhood inscription from 1452. The entrance to Jasovská jaskyňa is approximately 100 metres from the car park and can be reached without any change in elevation.
The visitor route in Gombasecká jaskyňa is approximately 530 metres long and takes around 30 minutes. Particularly thin, hollow sinter tubes have been preserved along this visitor route.
The ceiling of Ochtinská aragonitová jaskyňa is decorated with unique eccentric aragonite formations. The car park for Ochtinská aragonitová jaskyňa is 300 metres from the cave; from there, a gently ascending path leads on foot to the entrance area.
An educational trail is located next to the visitor area of Domica; the car park is directly in front of it.
Museums and Historic Places
The Košický zlatý poklad of Východoslovenské múzeum consists of 2,920 gold coins, ducats and double ducats, three gold medals and a Renaissance gold chain. Východoslovenské múzeum presents the Košický zlatý poklad in an experiential and interactive exhibition. The Príroda Karpát exhibition at Východoslovenské múzeum comprises 2,040 natural history exhibits.
Kaštieľ Betliar houses the permanent exhibition of Múzeum Andrássyovcov in the former apartments of the count's family. Kaštieľ Betliar is the only estate in Slovakia that survived after 1945 with its original furnishings and collections; since its nationalisation, it has essentially served as a museum. It was built between 1881 and 1886 as a residence used primarily as a hunting lodge and museum for its owner's collection.
At the end of the main walking route in the park of Kaštieľ Betliar, an animal enclosure in the form of a medieval castle with turrets is located by the pond. The park of Kaštieľ Betliar also includes a Masonic pavilion, a Chinese pavilion, a Japanese bridge and the Hermes Fountain.
The Andrássy Mausoleum in Krásnohorské Podhradie is one of two branch sites of the Betliar Museum. It was built between 1903 and 1904 as an architecturally exceptional funerary chapel.
Aviation and Art
Múzeum letectva v Košiciach presents almost 500 unique exhibits on the history of aviation, the development of aircraft, aircraft engines and instrumentation technology across 7,100 m². The museum presents seven exhibitions.
The exhibition on the history of road transport at Múzeum letectva v Košiciach displays historic bicycles, motorcycles, passenger cars and trucks, particularly from Czechoslovak production. Východoslovenská galéria welcomes visitors at its locations at Hlavná 27 and Alžbetina 22 in Košice.
