Štrekljevec: Hotels, Archaeology and Nature

Štrekljevec is home to the Judničev vrt archaeological site. The oldest archaeological finds from Štrekljevec date from the transition from the Bronze Age to the Iron Age, approximately from 1200 to 800 BC; traces of Roman graves were also discovered here.

Archaeological finds from Štrekljevec are on display in the museum in Semič. The Kalska domačija with a traditional hayrack is also located in the village.

The Church of the Assumption of Mary in Štrekljevec is a filial church of the Parish of Semič.
