Rimske Toplice: Hotels, Spa Park and Kopitnik

The spa park in Rimske Toplice has a network of walking paths, promenades, viewpoints, and resting places. It also includes two ponds, a wooded meadow, and numerous avenues. Kopitnik has a rocky summit with a viewpoint and the mountain hut of PD Rimske Toplice.

Ruska steza is a 1,216-meter-long walking path. Russian prisoners of war built it in the final year of the First World War by extending the former Viktorija Promenade around the sequoias. At the beginning of Ruska steza, a memorial stone commemorates the prisoners of war who built the path.

Aškerčeva domačija is more than 500 years old. The poet Anton Aškerc spent his youth there. A guided tour of the literary and ethnological collection is offered at Aškerčeva domačija; visitors can also sample homemade cheeses.

The church in Šmarjeta has a high altar bearing the year 1680. Written sources already mention it in 1545 as a branch church of the parish of Laško.
