Hiking

Radegunda: On the Golte plateau, the ZajÄkova Pot is the easiest hiking trail. The route takes 1 hour and 30 minutes and is suitable for all age groups. The Gamsova Pot takes 2 hours and 15 minutes and leads to Ledenica Cave and the Jezerca ponds. This places two trails with clearly different durations and named destinations side by side.

On the Way

The Žekovec cable car offers a 3,265-metre panoramic ride. It takes eight minutes and ascends almost 1,000 metres in elevation. An organised parking facility for cars, buses and motorhomes is available at the valley station.

Activities

Golte Adventure Park has six courses with varying levels of difficulty. The first two courses are intended for younger visitors. A ride on the Roller Coaster med krošnjami also includes a ride on the Smrekovec four-seater chairlift. Golte Adventure Park can be reached on foot from the hotel in just a few minutes.

The caves can only be visited with prior reservation. On Golte, visitors can explore an authentic, untouched karst cave accompanied by experienced speleologists. Ledenica is the best-known cave on Golte. In the past, local farmers used it to store food because snow and ice remained there until well into summer due to its natural location and depth.

Nature

The bushcraft course on Golte is offered in all seasons. It teaches navigation in the forest without a compass, gathering suitable firewood and lighting a fire; herbs, mushrooms and wild plant foods are also explored. In winter, skiing is possible on Golte, while in summer visitors can explore the landscape park on marked trails.

Culture

The Church of Saint Radegunda was first mentioned in 1690. After the 1895 earthquake, it was rebuilt in the Neo-Romanesque style and consecrated on 31 August 1903. It stands alone on the southern slope of Golte.

When considering offers for Radegunda, it is worth carefully comparing the respective offer pages. Before booking, check the exact location description and the type of accommodation. Occupancy, possible additional guests, included services, price components, and the booking and cancellation conditions should likewise be clearly stated. It is also advisable to read the information about the length of stay, the total price and any possible charges separately. Pay attention to whether the displayed amount applies to the entire occupancy or only to one person and whether individual services remain optional. Deadlines, the payment date and the rules for changes should also be clearly understandable on the respective offer page. For a fair comparison, it also matters whether the same travel dates, the same number of people and the same type of accommodation are used as the basis.
