Bled: Island, Lake, Culture and Walking Trails
Bled combines the lake with an island, historic sites, traditional printing techniques and well-maintained paths. The experiences range from a crossing on a handmade Pletna or other available boats to sacred and cultural sites, as well as water activities and views of the landscape.

Culture

The Southern Stone Staircase leads uphill from the south to the central part of the island and has 99 steps. At Potičnica, visitors can taste, buy or order poticas with various fillings and flavours. It also offers hands-on ethnological activities focused on the traditional preparation and baking of Slovenian potica.
The Triglavska roža Infocenter in Bled has a permanent multimedia exhibition entitled “Raj pod Triglavom”. The Infocenter organises various events and workshops and hosts temporary exhibitions. The museum at Bled Castle presents the historical development of Bled, its culture and its inhabitants. At Bled Castle, visitors can learn about traditional printing techniques and print a commemorative certificate themselves.
The interior of the Church of St Martin was frescoed by Slavko Pengov from 1932 to 1937. At the Church of St Martin, visitors can attend church services and occasional concerts.
Nature
From Straža, views extend over Lake Bled, Bled Castle, the Jelovica plateau and Mount Stol. The walking trails in and around Bled have been developed for tourists; the paths are maintained and marked with signposts indicating names and walking times.
Water
Grajsko kopališče Bled offers a 260-metre-long, well-maintained lakeshore with, among other things, a water slide, diving board, floating rafts, designated pools of different depths, children's play equipment, a sandbox, kayaks, table tennis, board games and shaded resting areas.
