In the village center of Argavand stands the Saint Sarkis Church. According to the inscription above its northern entrance, it was completed on August 19, 1897; it was built through donations from Armenian worshippers. The church is a three-nave structure made of gray tuff, with a northern and a western entrance. It was reconstructed in 1997 and received a bell tower, which was built through the efforts and financial contributions of local residents.
