Ayntap’s battle monument commemorates the settlement’s self-defense in 1920. Its central group comprises the busts of the priest Nerses Tavukchyan, General Atur Levonyan, and gunsmith Avetis Kalemkeryan.

Ayntap is also home to a monument dedicated to those killed in the Second World War, which was erected in 1973.

Ayntap is located on the Yerevan–Artashat highway, about 2 km northeast of Yerevan.

The surrounding area of Ayntap includes Darakert, the Shengavit settlement, the Armenian Railway Museum, Erebuni Fortress, Karmir Blur - 4, Shengavit’ - 2, Shengavit’ - 4, and Noragyugh - 1.
