Carpet weaving has a long-standing tradition in the wider Quba area. Visitors can visit the “Qədim Quba” company and the “Azərxalça” factories. Weaving master classes are also held on site, and prior registration is required.

Regional Specialties

Local establishments in Quba city center offer tourists master classes on preparing pakhlava and bukma. Quba’s bukma and pakhlava are sold in small confectionery shops and prepared in the city’s homes.

Geographical Location

The Baku–Quba–State Border with the Russian Federation road is described as being 150 km long; 129 km of it is tolled. Chip cards are available at the toll stations upon entry and exit.
