Kareličy: Hotels and Accommodation

The Mir Castle Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in the Korelichi District. Culture

The Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Korelichi is a stone building erected in 1866 on the site of an earlier wooden church, using bricks in the retrospective Russian style. It stands on a hill in the centre of Korelichi and is visible from afar. The church remains active and is used as a place of worship. Its three-part composition comprises a rectangular refectory with a low bell tower, a prayer hall with side chapels, and a semicircular apse with sacristies.

The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Korelichi was built in 1938 in the neoclassical style. After it was returned to the faithful in the early 1990s, it was fully reopened in 1992.

The Korelichi District Local History Museum is located at 19 Sovetskaya Street. Its exhibition comprises seven halls, including a section on the history of the region from prehistoric times to the 18th century. Behind the temple stands a monument to Jan Czeczot. He collected and published around a thousand Belarusian songs.

History

Michal Kazimierz Radziwill, known as “Rybonka”, opened a tapestry manufactory in Korelichi in 1760, which operated until 1792. The first tapestries made in Korelichi adorned the halls of Nesvizh Castle in 1764.

The Grafskaya Pushcha is located in the territory of the Korelichi and Novogrudok districts and is home to valuable plant species and diverse wildlife.
