The Ukrainian Church of the Transfiguration in Prnjavor was built from 1911 to 1912 and is regarded as the first brick-built Ukrainian church in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its interior is designed in the traditional Ukrainian style and features a multi-tiered wooden iconostasis in the Neo-Baroque style. The parish complex of the Ukrainian Church includes a museum displaying objects brought by settlers and other historical treasures.

The Orthodox Church of Saint George the Great Martyr was built from 1884 to 1887 and consecrated on September 18, 1888. Its iconostasis was made and painted by Teodosije Marković in 1888. The harem of Prnjavor’s town mosque was declared a national monument in 2003 and placed under state protection.

The district prefecture building is also part of the town’s cultural topography: it is designated as the Zavičajni muzej Prnjavor. Palačkovci is also home to a log church built in 1843 entirely from oak wood.

The historical spectrum also includes the “Vučijak” Lipizzaner stud farm. It was established in April 1946 by decree of the Ministry of Defence and has six breeding lines of Lipizzaners.

Fishing at Drenova Lake is permitted from the shore; every other form of fishing is prohibited. Drenova Lake is a special fishing area and is widely known for its trophy catfish and carp.

An existing 18-kilometre trail leads from Drenova Lake to the historic Stuplje Monastery. In and above the Ukrina River, a special phenomenon occurs in mid-August: swarms of mayflies appear in the evening and morning hours.
